Raigad Pradakshina is a historic and endurance-based trekking experience that takes you on a complete circular walk around the base of the legendary Raigad Fort. This sacred route was once walked by warriors, devotees, and messengers, making it not just a trek but a journey through Maratha history.
The trail covers approximately 14–16 km and passes through dense forests, rocky paths, narrow ridges, and ancient fortification remnants. One of the most thrilling sections is the Raigad Dark Forest Route, where early-morning silence, towering trees, and misty surroundings create a powerful and mystical atmosphere.
Along the route, trekkers witness iconic landmarks such as Chitta Darwaja, Waghbil, Rainak Smarak, and breathtaking views near Wagh Darwaja. The journey concludes with a meaningful visit to Jijamata Samadhi, adding a spiritual and emotional touch to the expedition.
