Salher–Salota–Mulher–Mora–Hargad

β‚Ή3,499/-

The Baglan Range Trek is one of the most challenging and rewarding treks in Maharashtra, located in the Nashik district along the Maharashtra–Gujarat border. Famous for its chain of five majestic forts – Salher, Salota, Mulher, Mora, and Hargad, this trek combines history, adventure, and natural beauty in one unforgettable journey.

Standing tall at 5,175 feet, Salher Fort is the highest fort in Maharashtra and the second highest peak in the state after Kalsubai. It is historically significant as the site of the Battle of Salher (1672), where the Marathas achieved a massive victory against the Mughals. Its twin fort, Salota, offers breathtaking valley views, while Mulher and Mora showcase remnants of temples, water tanks, and caves. For thrill-seekers, Hargad Fort adds an adventurous climb with steep rock patches.

The trek takes you through ancient Maratha routes, dense valleys, rustic villages, and vast Sahyadri landscapes. Over two days, trekkers explore all five forts, camp under starry skies, enjoy authentic Maharashtrian food, and relive history while soaking in panoramic views of the Sahyadris.
