04:30 AM: Reporting at Nigadi β Meet your fellow trekkers, complete the check-in, and get ready for an adventurous day.
04:45 AM: Pickup at Nashik Phata β Short briefing during the drive to get everyone energized and informed about the trek.
05:00 AM: Pickup at Chh. Shivajinagar β Final boarding point for participants from central Pune.
05:30 AM: Pickup at Hinjewadi β Meet participants from the IT hub area and continue the scenic drive toward Pimpri Village.
08:00 AM: Reach Base Village β Freshen up and enjoy a hearty breakfast βπ₯ͺ. Immerse yourself in the peaceful village surroundings.
08:30 AM: Trek briefing & instructions β Safety tips, route overview, and equipment check by the trek leader.
09:00 AM: Start the Andharban Jungle Trek

1. How difficult is the trek?
The difficulty depends on the route. Pachnai is easy and suitable for beginners. Khireshwar is moderate. Nalichi Vaat is difficult and only for experienced trekkers.
2. What is the best time to visit?
The best season is from June to February. Monsoon offers greenery and waterfalls, winter is pleasant and great for stargazing, while summer is hot and not recommended.
3. How long does the trek take?
From Pachnai it takes around 2 hours, Khireshwar takes 5β6 hours, and Nalichi Vaat takes 7β8 hours.
4. Can beginners join this trek?
Yes, beginners can join via the Pachnai route. The other routes are more challenging.
5. Is camping allowed?
Yes, camping is allowed near Kokankada and temple area. Many trekkers also stay overnight for stargazing.
6. Are washrooms available?
Basic washrooms are available at the base village. At the top, facilities are very limited.
7. What about food and stay?
Local villagers provide home-cooked meals and simple homestay. Camping tents can also be arranged.
8. Do we need a guide?
A guide is recommended for Khireshwar and Nalichi Vaat routes. Pachnai route can be managed without one.
9. Is there mobile network on the fort?
Network is weak and patchy. Some spots near Kokankada have Jio and BSNL signals.
10. What should we carry?
Carry 2β3 litres of water, trekking shoes with good grip, raincoat or warm jacket depending on season, torch, and some snacks.
